He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lewis "Luke" Davidson and Dorothy Lefler Davidson; his daughter Denna Davidson; his stepdaughter Deborah Clanton; his grandson Hunter Thompson; and his grandparents, Reuben and Effie Lefler.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Shoemaker Davidson; his son Brian Davidson (Robin); his stepson Eddie Clanton (Terri); his sisters, Carol Julian (Jim) and Laurie Fitzgerald; and his grandchildren, Justin Davidson (Kelsey), Travis Davidson (Nicole), Shane Davidson (Kayla), Lee Clanton (Maria), Dusty Clanton (Samantha), Jesse Moore (Rachel), Cory Moore (Desarae) and Cheyenne Thompson. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
