She was predeceased by: her parents, Addie Ruth Weaver Williams and John Justice Williams; her husband Phil Jamison Sloop; and her brothers, Justice, Charles and Bruce Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Sloop and Labe Sloop (Mary) of Mount Ulla; her brother Robert C. Williams (Vicki) of Churchville, MD; her grandchildren, Philip Sloop (Lindsay) of Mount Ulla, Jenny Sloop Johnson (Andrew) of Raleigh, NC and Kathryn Sloop of Wendell, NC; and her great grandchildren, Bridger, Porter Johnson of Raleigh, Beau, John and Isabel Sloop of Mount Ulla. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, their spouses and children.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home ((Hwy 150), 494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Back Creek Presbyterian Church (2145 Back Creek Church Rd #2180, Charlotte, NC 28213). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
