He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Lackey and Dorothy Pennington Lackey; and his son Craig Pressley Giegerich. He is survived by: his wife Janice Pressley Lackey; his daughters, Mandy Sifford (Robert) and Juliet Webb (Jon); his siblings, Donald Lackey, Marilyn Thomas and Carolyn Ayers; and his grandchildren, Claudiah Sifford, Craig Webb, Brody Webb and Andrew Webb. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
