He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lyon and Helen Teirhau Lyon; his sisters, Patti Lyon and Barbara Lyon; and his sons, Michael Lyon and Bill Lyon.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Wilhelm Lyon; and his sons, Matthew Lyon of Phoenix, AZ, Jerry Lyon of Sedona, AZ and John Lyon of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
