She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Britt and Lizzie Britt; and her sister Iris Britt Hudson. She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Ted" Hudson; her children, Carol H. Christy, Phyllis "Eddie" Hobbs, Joseph "Nellie" Hudson and Chris Hudson; her grandchildren, Dana Terry, Shannon Grady, Daniel Hobbs (Brittany), Laura Bouchard (Doron), Joseph Hudson III and Shaun Cruse (Shena); and her sister Nida Britt Giddens. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
