He was predeceased by: his parents, Gurney Lee Ball and Lucy Neilson Ball; his sister Amy Scarboro; and his nephew Gregory Lee Terry. He is survived by: his fiancée Holly McKinney Tomlin; his daughter Laura Atkinson (Frank); his sister Mendee McCrary (Samuel); his nieces and nephews, Melissa "Wooley" Sorrells (Matt), Matthew Scarboro, Brandon Terry (Alaina), Chasitie "Chester" Terry and Jordyn Williams; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Drake, Kaitlyn, Kiera "Tato" Sorrells, Camron, Kaydance and Blaisleigh Terry; and his close friends, Sherlock, Penny and Holly.
