With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Elease Bouknight Jr. (Mount Ulla, North Carolina), born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on November 5, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Bouknight and Lily Mae Smith Bouknight; his wife Ruth Hatfield Bouknight; his son Russell Bouknight; his stepmother Helen Harbort Bouknight; his stepson Kenneth Register, Jr.; and his siblings, David, John Bouknight, Betty Stokes, Aileen Poffenbarger and Elizabeth Studemyer.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Fleming, Paige Rogers, Herbert Bouknight III (Gina) and Cheryl Bouknight; and his stepdaughters, Pat Crooks (Conrad), Peggy Riley and Penny Morrison (Bryan). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
