She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert Sawyer and Frances Wilkerson Sawyer. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Kepley; her sons, John Whitley and Jason Whitley (Jackie); her stepdaughter Hannah Kepley; her siblings, Robert Franklin, Scott Franklin, Tony Franklin, Sherry Arrington, Cindy Bradshaw, Crystal Childress and Teresa Miller; and her grandchildren, Ava, Lila and JoJo.
