It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wade Thomas Reid of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Reid and Kathlene Lockhart Reid; his wife Lorene Smith Reid; and his siblings, Isabelle Crump, Virginia Means, Esther McClelland, George Reid, Jr., James Reid and Harold Reid.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Carol Lynch of Mt. Pleasant, NC; his grandchildren, Thomas Fisher, Rachel Blakney and Ronald Lynch; his sisters, Mary Winecoff of Mt. Pleasant, NC, Rose Rose of Mt. Pleasant, NC and Mabel Lucille Reid of Mt. Pleasant, NC; and his nieces, Pamela Reid and Monell Blackmon.
