He is survived by: his wife Betty Green; his siblings, Oscar Green and Frances Ritch; his sons, Michael Green of Rockwell and Tracy Green (Debbie) of Kannapolis; his granddaughters, Amanda Krout (Joshua) of Kannapolis and Courtney Sandberg (Casey) of Kannapolis; his siblings, Clarence Green of Kannapolis and Mary Alice Hartman of Concord; and also, Berklee and Sydnee Krout.
He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist and the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in his name to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 16122 St Martin Rd, Oakboro, NC 28129.
