Ray Safrit Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Safrit of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, who passed away on February 1, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover White Safrit and Grace Beaver Safrit; his siblings, Helen, Lula, Glenn and Joe; his son Stephen; and his granddaughter Casey.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Barringer Safrit; his children, Libby Verble, Danny Ray Safrit (Taska) and Annette Baker (Steve); his grandchildren, Karen Tindal (Steven), Jamie Policastro (JP), Kalie Thomas (Greg), Sam Verble, Luke Verble (Anna), Noah Verble, Jordan Safrit (Leah), Grady Baker, Haley Conovaloff (Adam), Arlynn Thomas (Blake), Merek Slagle, Brittney Morrison (Nick) and Madison Slagle; his great grandchildren, McKenna, Kayla, Karlie, Eli, Axxle, Kate, Alyssa, Katie Rae, Oaklyn, Carter and Kennedy; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Barringer and John Barringer (Beverly). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
