He was predeceased by: his parents, Lex Harkey and Catherine Smith Harkey; his wife Rose Harkey; and his siblings, John Henry Harkey and Mary Jane Casper.
He is survived by: his brother Heating; his children, Tim Harkey (Charlene), Daniel Harkey (Karen), Chris Harkey (Lori) and Debra Cobden; and his siblings, David Harkey (Judy) and Rachel Seaford (Ken). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
