It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Virginia Waddell (Mount Pleasant, North Carolina), who passed away on January 4, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Van-Buren Sikes and Nora Bell McDaniel Sikes; her husband Robert H. "Buck" Waddell; her siblings, Lee Sikes, Martha Brawley and Betty Kluttz; and her grandson James Rice.
She is survived by: her sister Evelyn Russ; her children, Robert "Buck" Waddell, Jr. (Robin) and Joy Lynn Waddell; and her granddaughters, Tiffany Hamrick-Taylor, April Evans, Sarah Waddell and Shana Dean. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
