He was predeceased by: his siblings, Frank Sapp, Emmett Sapp Jr., John Sapp, Homer Sapp, Hoover Sapp, Stella Goodman, Gurthie Sapp, Pearl Sapp and Mary Lois Petrea.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Barbee Sapp; and his son Mack Leonard Sapp Jr. (April). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
