It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lona Almond (Mount Pleasant, North Carolina), who passed away on April 13, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward John Almond. She is survived by: her children, Linda McCorkle (Ronnie) of Concord and Terry Almond of Mt; her sister Dorothy McManus of Midland; her grandchildren, Daniel Sellers (Heather) of Harrisburg, Arion Edward Almond of Charlotte and Teela Mae Almond of Concord; her great grandchildren, Lawson Edward Almond of Mt Airy, Terrance Bradley Bowman of Concord and Knox Sellers of Harrisburg; her sisters-in-law, Doris Huneycutt and Beacy Huneycutt; and also Pleasant. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
