He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Mullis and Edith Mullis; and his son Lee Pettigrew. He is survived by: his wife Ann Mullis; his children, Tony Mullis of Stanfield, Trent Pettigrew of Mt. Pleasant, Eric Pettigrew of Concord, Chris Morrison of Mooresville, Jodie Pettigrew of Concord, Monekka Mullis of Locust and Frances Mullis of Chester, SC; his grandchildren, Brandon, Steven, Davey, Kenya, Preston, Conley, Harley, Andakwa, Tokala, Jacob, Dakota, Dillon and Noah; and his great grandchildren, Hailey, Hannah, Lilly, Willow and Michael.
