He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Floy Drye and Alice Lipe Drye; his wife Peggy Smith Drye; his children, John Timothy "Tim" Drye (Debbie) and Lecia Drye Simmons (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Jonathan Watts, Amanda Morton, Jesse Drye, Joshua Simmons and Sean Simmons; and his siblings, Jackie Drye (Evelyn) and Sarah D. Ridenhour.
