He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benjamin and Ollie Mae Kirk Busbin; and his sister Inez Busbin Isenhour. He is survived by: his wife Florence Ann Hahn; his children, Teresa Jones, Johnny Busbin and Susan Smith; his grandchildren, Matt Jones (Andria), Tyler Jones (Jackie), Natalie Cranford (Jantzen), April Goodman (Baker), Ashley Hanel (Joel) and Kayla Busbin; his great grandchildren, Jubilee, Mira, Corbin, Wyatt and Charlie; and his brother Donald Eugene "Gene" Busbin of Mt Pleasant.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gordon Funeral Home of Mt (8559 Cook St, Mt Pleasant, NC 28124). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Atrium Health, Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Ln., Kannapolis NC 28081 or the Patriot Relief Fund, 9808 Chestnut Hills, Harrisburg NC 28075, -rebuilding Western North Carolina-temporary tractor sheds.
