It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Lee Russell of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, born in Cortland, New York, who passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Russell and Sylvia Russell. He is survived by: his wife Mae Ann Russell (Simpson); his sisters, Roberta Harris (Jim), Loretta DeBottis (Joe), Melinda VanEtten (Sod) and Sylvia Stith (Alan); his sons, John Russell (Susan) and Brent Russell (Heather); and his grandchildren, Keri, Kristi, Josh, Jacob and Ethan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, three great grandchildren and numerous grand dogs and cats.
