He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lewis Barrier, II and Pearl Ballentine Barrier; and his wife Peggy Murph Barrier. He is survived by: his son Steve Barrier (Kellie); his grandchildren, Amanda Nicole Barrier, Chandler Collins, Sarah Kate Hamilton Barrier and Andrew David Barrier; and his brother Richard Barrier (Patti).
