He was predeceased by: his father Lonnie Alexander; and his brothers, Morris, Arlie, Wayne and Ronnie.
He is survived by: his sister Lucille Overcash; his son Alex (Lynette); his grandchildren, Laura and Jared; his sisters, Minnie Baucom and Kay Havens; and his sister-in-law Merle Whitley.
