She is survived by: her daughters, Kenya Kay Honeycutt and Marissa Ann Honeycutt Medlin (Kim); her stepson James Ronald Honeycutt; and her sisters, Virginia E. Foil of Mt. Pleasant and Evelyn E. Swaringen of Chicago.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations should be directed to Cabarrus County Animal Shelter, 244 Betsy Carpenter Pl SW, Concord, NC 28025.
