He was predeceased by: his mother Wanda Jones Strickland; and his brother Chris Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Korene Mader Strickland; his father Larry R. Strickland of Mount Olive; his children, Caroline S. Stovall (Jason) of Ohio, Dylan Strickland (Shelby) and Christopher "Bubba" Strickland (Anna); his grandchildren, Daylah, Jackson, Paisley Strickland and Sage Stovall; and his brother Larry Ray Strickland II (Stephanie) of Mount Olive. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
