She was predeceased by: her father Eddis Jones. She is survived by: her husband Paul L. Sasser; her son Alexander "Alex" L. Sasser (Meredith) of Wilmington; her mother HIlda Oates Jones of Mount Olive; her grandsons, Jake Kirkpatrick of Rocky Point and Cody Kirkpatrick of Fredericksburg; and her sisters, Glenda J. Lane of Goldsboro and Gail J. Connell (Dan) of Morehead City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
