She is survived by: her nephew Matthew Alan Sutton (Jody) of Mount Olive; her son Jase Rouse; her sister-in-law Ellen Thomas of Raleigh; her nephews, Clifford Jones of Raleigh and William Jones of Raleigh; and her great-nephew Campbell Jones of Raleigh. She is also survived by aunt and several cousins.
