We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2023, at the age of 84, Rachel McLeod Kennedy of Mount Olive, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Duncan McLeod and Minnie McLeod; her husband Kenneth Kennedy, Sr.; her brothers, Duncan McLeod of Sanford and Benton Lisk of Raleigh; and her close friend Davis Sloan of Calypso.
She is survived by: her children, Lou Anne Gaffney (Russ) of Greensboro, Ken Kennedy, Jr. (Debbi) of Mt. Olive and Kevin Kennedy (Ellen) of Cary; and her grandchildren, Kathryn Jellicorse (Will) of Santa Monica, CA, Kody Kennedy of Mt. Olive, Michael Gaffney of Macon, GA, Kailey Kennedy of Mt. Olive, Scott Kennedy of Cary and Jason Kennedy of Cary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Rachel's honor to Calypso Presbyterian Church (PO Box 321, Calypso, NC 28325).
