He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Francis Kascsak and Mary E. Ponizsil Kascsak; his wife Maureen Anderson Kascsak; his daughter Karen Marie Kascsak; and his brothers, Michael Kascsak and John Kascsak.

He is survived by: his sons, Peter S. Kascsak, Jr. (Susan), David Michael Kascsak (Ladell) and Richard Paul Kascsak (Peggy); his siblings, Paul Kascsak (Joyce), Arthur Kascsak (Susan) and Rosemary Ardiff; his grandchildren, Stephen Kascsak, Brandon Hinnant and Gina Cruz; and his great grandchildren, Austin Globke, Kaitlyn Cruz, Andrew Hinnant and Allison Hinnant.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the St Mary of the Angels Catholic Church (3262 US-117, Mt Olive, NC 28365). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the same location.
