She is survived by: her husband George Schantz; her children, William Schantz of Dudley and Michelle Shantz (Blaine Garrard) of Dudley; her grandchild Cleo Garrard of Dudley; her mother Casey Hines Sutton of Mount Olive; and her siblings, Katherine S. Hanson (Craig) of Mount Olive, Elizabeth S. Landers of Mount Olive and Lloyd Sutton, Jr. (Dawn) of Wilmington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
