She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Isadora Bell and James Robert Powell, Jr.; her daughter Mary Frances Carter; her sisters, Dorothy Carol and Brenda Parsons; her children, James Samuel Powell, Robert Gary Powell (Kay) and Teresa Ann Worley (Rick); her son-in-law Ronnie Carter; her grandchildren, Stacey Leigh Powell and Chelsea "Brooke" Preddy (Gordon); her great grandchildren, Palmer Preddy, Axel and Alexis; and her sisters, Billie Faye Hatch (Rex), Christine B. Tigunelis and Jean Carol Hobbs. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews.
