It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lena Strong of Mount Olive, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on November 21, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amy Lee Strong and James Russell. She is survived by: her children, Annie Strong, Devon Kornegay, Pamela Strong and Avery Strong; and her siblings, Betty Strong of New York and Ellery Strong. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
