She was predeceased by: her husband Odell Foss; her parents, Luby Powell and Anari Foss Powell; and her siblings, Marie Miller and Johnny "J. C." Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Ray Foss of Willow Spring, Keith Foss (Jackie) of Knightdale, Lorrie Ann Tisdale (Mark Price), Tammy Poole of Raleigh and Rhonda Whitley (Kenneth McArthur); her brother Doug Powell (Nancy) of Clayton; and her grandchildren, Teddy Janzen, Corey Tisdale, Danielle, Derek Foss, Kim, Staton Poole, Jennifer Roe, Andrew, Cameron Whitley, Kaitlyn, Ethan Foss and Bentley McArthur. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
