She was predeceased by: her mother Maybelle Strickland Price; her sister Gaynelle P. White; and her close friend Marsden Brock. She is survived by: her son-in-law Gray Summerlin; her children, Delores S. Summerlin (Gray) of Kenansville, Clifton Stroud of Dudley, Debbie Lynn H. Howard of Grantham, Paula H. Davis (Malcolm "Bo), Mount Olive, Wendy H. Smith (Kevin) of Mount Olive and Donna Rae Hurley Holmes (Dee) of Goldsboro; her sister Ann P. Thompson (Roy) of Seven Springs; her brother-in-law Michael White of Seven Springs; and her close friends, Renee Pope, Beverly Stroud and Candy Alexander. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren.
