She was predeceased by: her husband James Arthur "Jimmy" Barwick; her parents, J. Willard Pate and Emma Louis Summerlin Pate; and her brother John Burton Pate. She is survived by: her children, James A., Barwick, Jr. of Summerlin's Crossroads, Lori Barwick of Summerlin's Crossroads, Ronald "Trigger" and Jennifer Rose Barwick of Beautancus; her grandchildren, Blake Barwick (Harley Powell) and Emma Rose Barwick Smith; her great grandchildren, Granger James Smith and Ella Rose Smith; her sister Cathy Pate Rouse of Albertson; and her close friends, Sadie and Max. She is also survived by in-laws.
