She was predeceased by: her parents, Lola Potts Byrd and Alton Ray Byrd; her siblings, Gloria Byrd and James Ray "Jimmy" Byrd; and her brother-in-law Ralph Williamson.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Brock Paszek (Matt) of Rocky Mount and Brandon Douglas Brock (Kelly) of Mount Olive; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Paszek, Maggie Paszek, Matthew Paszek, Braydon Brock and Mattie Grace Brock; her siblings, Ann Byrd Williamson of Mount Olive and David William Byrd of Mount Olive; and her sister-in-law Janet Roberts Byrd of Andrews, SC. She is also survived by her family and closest friends.
