Larry Kent Shivar Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2025, at the age of 78, Larry Kent Shivar (Mount Olive, North Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry Kent Shivar to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Tapp Shivar and Edna Doris Shivar; and also, Alton Brinkley Price and Lillian Goodson Price. He is survived by: his wife Trudy Iris Price Shivar; his sons, Larry Chadbourne Shivar (Christy) of Pricetown and Eric Stephen Shivar (Meredith) of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Cailyn Shivar, Lauren Shivar, Carsyn Shivar and Colton Shivar; and his siblings, Curtis Shivar (Virginia), Tim Shivar, DW Shivar (Edie) and Marian Barwick. He is also survived by three brothers, a sister, and several special nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tyndall Funeral Chapel (1005 N Church St, Mt Olive, NC 28365). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
