She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lillian Kelly Chasten and Christopher Columbus Pickett; her daughters, Doris Brown, Theresa Farland (Phillip) and Janice Ademu-John; her stepson Paul Williams; her sisters, Willie C. Jones, Gertie L. Chasten and Mozelle C. George; her sons, Herman Lee Pickett and Thurman E. Pickett; her son-in-law Robert Brown; and her siblings, Elma C. Williams, James H. Chasten, Ervin L. Chasten and Esther C. Durham. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, In addition to her parents and husband.
