He was predeceased by: his parents, T. K. Britt and Doris Blackmon Britt. He is survived by: his siblings, Jo Ann Britt Johnson (Scott) of Dunn, Jennie Britt Kilpatrick (Sonny) of Seven Springs and Thomas C. "Tom" Britt (Vivian) of Wilmington. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, along with his extended family and dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Eureka Christian Church (2036 Dobbersville Rd, Mt Olive, NC 28365).
In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial donations be directed to the Carlisle Purvis Scholarship fund at Eureka Christian Church.
