He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Locklear Jacobs; his sons, Jack Edward Jacobs (Laurie) of Lumberton and Frankie Jacobs (Girlie) of Lumberton; his grandchildren, Frankie Jacobs Jr., Gracie Nicole Jacobs, Andrew Isaac Jacobs and Anna Elisabeth Jacobs; his brothers, James Jacobs Jr. (Rosa) and Ricky Jacobs (Connie); and his friend Arliss Allon Simpson (Melinda Strickland).
