She was predeceased by: her husband James; her parents, John Wesley and Ellen Bell Byrd; her son Craven Dudley; her siblings, Clypstine Ohlemacher, Doris Sessoms, Byrd, Jr. and Dennis Byrd; and her son-in-law Jimmy Williams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne D. Williams of Faison, Janet D. Turner (Cary) of Mount Olive and Rhonda D. Myers (Ray) of Mount Olive; and her grandchildren, Tracy Cruse (Aaron), Jennifer Merrill (Alma), Michelle Bradshaw (William) and Joshua Williams. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Tyndall Funeral Home (1005 N Church St, Mt Olive, NC 28365).
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rones Chapel Church or to a charity of one's choice.
