He is survived by: his children, Danny Worrell (Julie) of Mount Olive, Teresa Gay Swinson (Neil) of Mount Olive and Peggy DeLynn Moody (Mike) of Dudley; his brothers, Jonathan C. "Buddy" Worrell of Goldsboro and Ernie Knowles; and his caregiver Tressa Turnage. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
