She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Elks and Tom Elks. She is survived by: her godchildren, Jack Dixon Smith (Angelia), Cynthia Cuddington (Allen), Terrie Braxton (Donel), Jennifer Strickland (Billy), Marybeth Taylor (Ernie) and Stephen Holloman (Anita); and her friend Susan Baker.
