She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert McCullen and Anna Mae McCullen; her husband James Lee Carr Sr.; and her siblings, Lucy, Eva, Lillie, Albert Jr., Flora Lee, Fannie, Ella Mae, Levander, Annette and James.
She is survived by: her children, Ernest McCullen (Jean Bynum) of Goldsboro, Edward McCullen (Stella) of Dudley, Vivian McCullen of Raleigh, William McCullen of Dudley, Diann Royal (Linwood) of Dudley, Vera Carr, Eva Faye Carr of Dudley, James Lee Carr Jr. of Wells, KS, Ann Cromartie and Canary King of Mt. Olive. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
