She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Glenn and Beulah Waters (Puckett); her husband Adolph Kornegay; her grandson Jimmy Walther; and her siblings, William Waters, Robert Waters, Cecil Waters, Henry Waters, Mary Edna West and Sarah Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Kornegay of Edgewater, Billy Kornegay (Marcia) of Clayton, Deborah Kornegay (Hervy Kornegay Sr) of Calypso and Mike Kornegay (Tammy) of Clayton; her grandsons, Tucker Walther of Edgewater, Dr. Chad Kornegay (Kelly) of Calypso, Dr. Todd Kornegay (Jennifer) of Hampstead, Dr. Jon Kornegay (Lindsay) of Calypso, Brad Kornegay of Greenville, Paul Kornegay (Megan) of Calypso, Brian Kornegay of Clayton and Justin Kornegay of Waynesville; her great grandchildren, Van Walther, Christopher Kornegay, Boden Walther, Owen Kornegay, Ethan Kornegay, Charlie Kornegay, Addie Kate Kornegay, Battle Kornegay, Anna Kornegay, Leo Kornegay, Kayden Kornegay and Cooper Kornegay; and her sisters, Betty Lou Kornegay of Mt. Olive and Nellie Davis (Larry) of Albertson.
