He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Jordan Dail and Elsie Lee Dail of Mount Olive; his brother James Clark Dail; and his son Harvey. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Taylor Dail of New Bern; his children, Kimberly Dail Wynn (Steven Douglas Wynn) of New Bern, Lori Dail Olive of New Bern and Taylor Jordan Dail of Cary; his grandchildren, Dallon Chandler Olive of New Bern and Brandi Lee Lawrence (Thad Russell Lawrence III); his great grandchildren, Noah Russell Lawrence, Jordan and Thad Lawrence of Surf City, NC; his sister Sarah Lee Varner (Michael Varner) of Hilton Head, SC; and his sister-in-law Lynn Dail of Mt Olive.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Camp New Hope in West Jefferson, Harvey for, many years was an avid supporter or their efforts to give terminally ill children a last vacation.
