She was predeceased by: her daughter Leslie Sullivan Bradley; her parents, Perlie K. Murphy and Winnie Brock Murphy; and her siblings, Larry Murphy and Barbie Murphy.
She is survived by: her daughter Wendy Sullivan Whitfield (William) of Mount Olive; her grandchildren, Kristin Whitfield, Jessica Whitfield, Dylan Whitfield, Amber Whitfield, William Whitfield, Jr., Jamie Whitfield, Sharon Mercer and Catlyn Mercer; and her siblings, Peggy Murphy, Ellis (Bridgett Murphy) and Jeffrey (Deborah Murphy). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
