She was predeceased by: her son Thomas Carroll Davis; her husband Leo Davis; her close friend Glynn Mason; her parents, Harry Thompson and Louise Witherington Thompson Capps; and her brother Harold Thompson.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Carroll Davis (Terry Padgett), Mitchell Neil Davis (Jane Groux), Malcolm Stuart "Bo" Davis (Paula Davis) and Mickey Lynn Davis (Karen Davis); her siblings, Helen Durham and Ronald Thompson; her sisters-in-law, Coleen Davis Best, Teresa Davis DePersis, Ann Davis Naylor and Brenda Davis Darden; her pet Suzee; and also Sherry E. Davis. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tyndall Funeral Home (1005 N Church St, Mt Olive, NC 28365). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maplewood Cemetery (165 E Main St, Mt Olive, NC 28365).
