She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Daniel Holmes; and her parents, Harper Murvin and Julie Lee Coker Murvin. She is survived by: her daughters, Belinda Parker (Kay) of Mount Olive and Julie Holmes (Tommy Kornegay) of Seven Springs; her grandchildren, Nicole Willis (Brandon Parker) and Taylor Theriac (Camden Willis); her siblings, Marie McArthur of Mount Olive, Robert W. "Bo" Mervin (Sue) of Seven Springs and Robert E. Murvin (Sherry) of Wilmington; and her close friend Kenneth Hood. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
