She is survived by: her children, Leonard Ray Cherry, Jr. of Mount Olive, Jeanne Cherry King (Brad) of Mount Olive and Michael Ray Cherry (Debbie) of Pink Hill; her grandchildren, Megan Hill (Tim), Jonathan Cherry (Krystal) and Taylor Cherry; her great grandchildren, Bryson, Emersyn, Everly Hill, Kharity and Thomas Cherry; and her siblings, Sallie P. Hodgin of Goldsboro, Joseph Powell and Willie Ray Powell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
