It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Taft Cain (Mount Olive, North Carolina), who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Taft and Calla Jackson Taft; and her siblings, Frances Cain and Steve Taft. She is survived by: her husband Bennie Cain; her children, Belinda C. Sessoms (Matt) of Faison, Chris Cain of Alabama and Scott Cain (Cynthia) of Alabama; her grandchildren, Ashley Britt (Sam), Alli Cain, Hannah Bright (Matt), Josh Cain (Tammy), Joey Cain and Kyle Sutton; and her sister Cynthia Cochren (Bobby) of Alabama. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be directed to her church; Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church and designate on the donation for "Helene Relief" to assist in the church's' food truck.
