He is survived by: his children, Angela Jill R. Tyndall of Snow Hill, William Ray Roberts (Bonnie F. Roberts) and Steven Walter Roberts (Toni Roberts); his grandchildren, Ashley Strickland (Justin), Alanna Tyndall, Lindsay Roberts and Anna Marie Roberts; his great grandchildren, Jada Strickland and Kimber Howell; his sister Faye R.; his siblings-in-law, Donnie Salyers of Coburn, Lacy McReynolds of Coburn and Linda Roberts of Lebanon; and his friend Phyllis Black of Jacksonville.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Tyndall Funeral Home (1005 N Church St, Mt Olive, NC 28365).
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorial gifts be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105, or to the charity of one's choosing.
